'The fire service is part of the national emergency service 999, they have to leave the road'

Narail representative: On the initiative of Narail district fire service and civil defense, an exercise was held at the district police lines field to control fire in an emergency. Narail District Superintendent of Police Mr. Mehdi Hasan was present in this exercise. Mr. Masud Rana, Station Master of Narail District Fire Service and Civil Defense, first discussed various fire fighting techniques to the policemen. Later, Mr. Masud Rana and his team demonstrated the modern devices including extinguishing the fire, rescuing the victim trapped in the fire and sending them to the hospital after first aid, rescue device for the person trapped in the elevator, rescue device if buried under the building. Later, the policemen participated in putting out the fire with their own hands. The Superintendent of Police along with the policemen from all the units of the district enjoyed every fire fighting exercise displayed by the fire service team. After the exercise, Superintendent of Police said, "Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense are working with the police in National Emergency Service 999 with efficiency and professionalism. Fire service members save people's lives by working at the risk of death. Their contribution to the country is infinite. Recently in Dhaka Many lives have been saved by the sincerity of fire service personnel in major accidents. If you see a fire service vehicle on the road, you must give them a chance to go first."

At that time Mr. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance), promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police; Mr. Tarek Al Mehdi, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Ops); Mr. Md. Dolan Mia, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), Narail, along with Unit Heads of various units of the District Police and policemen were present.
