Gas cylinder explosion in Gazipur: 4 more dead, death toll rises to 10

News Desk: Four more people died including a burnt child in a gas cylinder explosion in the Konapara area of ​​Kaliakoi in Gazipur. With this, the death toll rose to 10.

Zahirul Islam (40), Motaleb (45) around 2:30 am on Sunday (March 17), Shishu Solaiman (9) at 6:30 am on Monday (March 18) and Shishu Rabbi (13) at 7:30 am. He died while undergoing treatment at the Institute of Plastic Surgery.

Zahirul Islam is the son of Aynal Fakir of Shahjadpur police station in Sirajganj. Motaleb is the son of deceased Muhammad Ali of Madhupur police station in Tangail. Child Solaiman is the son of Shafiqul Islam of Phulbaria police station in Mymensingh. The child Rabbi is of Shahjadpur police station of Sirajganj.Son of Shah Alam.

Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute's resident doctor Dr. confirmed this.

He said that four people including children died in gas cylinder explosion from midnight to morning. They were treated in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital with 65-95 percent burns. This incident has killed 10 people including women and children so far.

Earlier, Taiba (3), Ariful Islam (35), Mahidul (24), Mansoor Ali and Solaiman Mollah died while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery from March 15 to Sunday.

On March 13, 36 people were burnt in a gas cylinder explosion at the house of Shafiqul Islam Khan in Telirchala area of ​​Kaliakor, Gazipur.
