6 people were stabbed to death in Canada

At 10.52pm local time on Wednesday, police went to the house in Barrhaven and found the bodies of six people. The deceased are 35-year-old Darshani Banbaranaike and her four children. Another deceased known to the Sri Lankan family is 40-year-old Amarakunmubiansela Gay Gamini Amarakun. The father of the dead children was admitted to an Ottawa hospital with injuries. Police said his life is not in danger. The Sri Lankan High Commission in Ottawa has confirmed that the family is from Sri Lanka. No more information has been given from the High Commission. The Ottawa police chief said sharp weapons were used in the murder. He also commented that this is the biggest murder case in the history of Ottawa. The incident of this murder is painful and its investigation is a complicated process.
