International desk: Israel is continuing to attack the besieged Gaza territory of Palestine. Apart from schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches, hospitals are also being attacked. As a result, Gaza's health system has already collapsed.

Along with this, a severe humanitarian crisis has arisen in this blockaded territory. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the Israeli attack on Gaza one of the "greatest barbarities" of the century.

At the same time, he also alleged that the Netanyahu government is carrying out "shameless genocide against the Palestinians". Anadolu news agency reported this information in a report on Wednesday (March 6).

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday reiterated his condemnation of Israel's ongoing "brutality" against Palestinians, according to reports. In a joint press conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, said, "For the last 151 days, we have witnessed the biggest barbarity of the last century."

Accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government of carrying out a "shameless genocide against Palestinians", President Erdogan said the atrocities against Palestinians were being carried out with the "unreserved support of Western powers".

"Netanyahu and his accomplices in murder must be held accountable before the law and public conscience for every drop of blood," the Turkish president insisted.

He also criticized the actions of Israeli settlers in the occupied Palestinian territories. Erdoğan said, "They have occupied the land owned by the Palestinians, and this is one of the biggest obstacles to solving the crisis."

President Erdogan stressed the importance of maintaining access to religious sites of all faiths, condemning "totally absurd" demands by hardline Israeli politicians to limit Muslim access to Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem.

Erdogan also slammed Israel's efforts to discredit the UN Refugee Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian refugees. Tel Aviv's efforts to discredit the organization with "false information and slander" should not be believed, he asserted.

At the same time, the existence of this organization should not be undermined. Several countries, including the United States, Britain, Germany and Canada, have announced the suspension of UNRWA's funding due to its suspected links to Hamas, a Palestinian independence armed group.

In addition, the organization also announced the dismissal of several of its employees for their involvement in the Hamas attack on October 7 last year. Standing in favor of a peaceful solution to the Palestinian crisis, President Erdoğan said, "The only way to lasting peace is to establish an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders." Its capital will be East Jerusalem. It should be noted that since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7 last year, Israel has continued to carry out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack. The Palestinian Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip said that more than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed so far as a result of Israel's attack on Gaza. Most of them of which are women and children. Besides, more than 72 thousand people were injured.
