International Desk: At least two people were killed and two others were injured in the shooting of a 16-year-old teenager in the United States. ABC reported that this incident happened in Point Hope, Alaska on Sunday night local time. The shooting happened at a home in the small community of Point Hope, Alaska, according to a complaint filed Monday in the incident.

There is mourning among the 800 people living in the area. According to reports, a 16-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder. Officials said in a statement Monday morning, 'The matter is still under investigation. But we want to reassure the public that there is no security risk.

This is an isolated incident and the suspect is currently in police custody.' Tikigak school officials said in a Facebook post that the school closure was announced Monday 'due to a tragedy in our community.' Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy said on social media that he and his wife were saddened by the incident.

We will continue to strive for justice. The North Slope Borough Police Department said they responded to reports of shots fired around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, officers found a woman and a man dead and two men injured. All are believed to have been shot with firearms.
