International desk: On the occasion of the two-year anniversary of the Ukraine war, US President Joe Biden has announced the imposition of more than five hundred new sanctions on Russia. Biden gave this information in a statement on Friday. In addition, Biden has announced the imposition of sanctions on more than a hundred organizations. He claims that these organizations are helping Russia in the war. He also threatened to ensure that Russia does not make more money by selling energy. The new sanctions come in the wake of attacks on Ukraine and the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny. In a statement in this regard, Biden said, these sanctions imposed for aggression abroad and torture at home will ensure that Putin will pay a high price.

Those involved in the sentencing of Navalny will be subject to the new sanctions. In addition, the economic sector of Russia, defense industry, shopping networks and sanctions violators will also fall under the sanctions, Biden said. Earlier, Biden insulted Russian President Vladimir Putin as a 'son of a dog'. Protesting against this, the Kremlin said that the United States is degrading its own country by abusing in this way. By the way, Russia started the operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. This operation is still going on.
