Distribution of Punak food items among the needy in Gazipur

Gazipur : In Gazipur, Police Women's Welfare Association (PUNAK) organized awareness workshops, free medical camps and distributed food items among the helpless and needy to prevent cervical and breast cancer.

These programs were held at Gazipur Police Lines on Wednesday. Gazipur Punak President Ginia Farzana distributed food items among hundreds of helpless and needy people. The food items distributed include 8 kg of rice, 1 kg each of dal, oil, sugar, potato, salt and onion. Apart from this, everyone who comes to collect food items is given 100 taka in cash as traveling expenses.

Later awareness workshops on cervical and breast cancer prevention, free medical camps and free Via test program for Punak members were inaugurated.
