Cox's Bazar Correspondent:  Cox's Bazar District Administrator Muhammad Shaheen Imran and Superintendent of Police Md Mahfuzul Islam PPM (bar) visited various puja mandaps of Cox's Bazar city and Ramu Upazila on Sunday (October 21) night to strengthen security and maintain communal harmony on the occasion of Sharidiya Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Sanatan religions. ).

At this time, the police on duty in the Puja Mandap, local public representatives, volunteers including Ansar members gave instructions in various directions and exchanged skills with the leaders of the Puja celebration committee.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police told reporters about the overall situation, "Autumn Durga Puja is the biggest festival between the Bengali and Hindu communities in this Bangladesh of communal harmony. With the joint efforts of everyone, this puja has become a festival and a meeting place for everyone. 

Let's all celebrate this festival peacefully. At this time, ensuring 100% security in the Mandap, the Superintendent of Police also said, if any evil forces create disorder, they will not be spared. Ramur Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Fahmida Mostafa, Kawarkhop was present in the inspection.

Union chairman Shamsul Alam and related people were present. Leaders of Puja Utyapan Parishad said, "Durga Puja is being celebrated in 365 Mandapams in Cox's Bazar district. Out of which 151 are Pratima Pujas and 164 Ghat Pujas. CCTV cameras have been attached to all the Mandapams and Police, RAB, Ansa and police in plain clothes have been strengthened for security. ".
