Kurigram Representative: Monthly meeting of District Law and Order Committee was held in Kurigram. On Sunday (August 13) in the morning meeting, the members present expressed their satisfaction regarding the overall law and order of the district and expressed their thanks to the district administration and the district police.
Panir Uddin Ahmed, Member of Parliament of Kurigram-2 Constituency was present at the time. Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Arif, Superintendent of Police Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam, Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Manzoor A. Murshed, Mayor of Kurigram Municipality Md. Kaziul Islam, President of NGO Forum Vir Muktijodha Harun Or Rashid Lal, Deputy Director Women and Child Affairs were also present. Directorate Mocha: Jebun Nescha, President of Press Club Raju Mostafiz, General Secretary of Sri Ramakrishna Mandir, Veer Muktijoddha Uday Shankar Chakraborty, executive officers of various upazilas and representatives of various government departments.
President of the press club Raju Mostafiz expressed his satisfaction with the action of the police and called for more work on the mobile addiction of the youth. To face any challenge in the future, the Superintendent of Police requested the cooperation of the police as well as against the transformation of civil matters into criminal offenses with regard to the non-communal Bangladesh of the Father of the Nation, the honorable Prime Minister's zero tolerance against terrorism and drugs, and against women abuse and land tenure.
In addition to discussing the positive activities of law and order, the honorable members discussed in detail about the ongoing development in Kurigram and various development projects of great potential in the future.
