Promotion of sale of rice at Tk 30 per kg in Hatibandha

Mostafizur Rahman, Lalmonirhat: The sale of OMS rice at the price of 30 taka has been raised for the benefit of the common people who work in handlooms of Lalmonirhat. Hatibandha Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Nazir Hossain initiated the sale of the said rice at the medical junction of the upazila at 9 am on Wednesday. At that time Hatibandha Upazila Food Controller Abu Hena Mostafa Kalam, Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Babu Dilip Kumar Singh, Vice President Amjad Hossain Taju, Nurul Haque, Office Secretary Abdus Samad Bachchu, Tongbhanga Union Parishad Chairman Salim Hossain, Upazila Food Warehouse Vice-President. Inspector Jitendra Nath and OMS Rice Dealer Selina Begum. Hatibandha Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nazir Hossain said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina thought about the people of all walks of life and arranged OMS rice at the price of Tk 30 due to the price situation. Selling rice 5 days a week and everyone can buy 5 kg of rice.
