News Desk: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (BTRC) has ordered to block the bandwidth of IIG (International Internet Gateway) company 'Amara Technologies' for not paying the due revenue sharing on time.
The directive was given in a letter signed by Ghulam Razzak, director of engineering and operations department of BTRC on Monday (July 18) and asked to be implemented from Monday.
It is said in the letter, "Directions have been given to inform the commission by capping (blocking) 50 percent of IIG operator Amra Technologies." This letter is directed to Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL), Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Limited (BTCL) and 6 ITC (International Terrestrial Cable). has been sent
