Sanju Roy, Bogra: A mobile court of the district administration conducted a surprise operation on the Dhaka-Bogra highway at Chandaikona in Sherpur from 9 am to 12 noon on Friday to enforce the ban on motorcycles on the Eid highway. A mobile court headed by Khalid bin Mansur, executive magistrate of the district administration, fined the violators Tk 2,500 in four cases. Talking to Executive Magistrate Khalid bin Mansur on his mobile phone about the operation, he said that motorcycles from one district have been banned from entering other districts to avoid accidents on Eid. For this, under the overall direction of Bogra Deputy Commissioner Md. Ziaul Haque, the district administration has imposed fines on the violators through a mobile court for implementing the ban on Bogra highways. However, most of the motorcyclists in the campaign were initially warned and urged to always abide by the law. BRTA Bogra Circle Motor Vehicle Inspector Abul Kalam Azad, APBN and Highway Police members were present during the conduct of the mobile court.
