Sports Desk: The expectation was that the Bangladesh team would play in the Super Twelve after winning all the matches in the first round and becoming the group champions. The ICC, the highest governing body of cricket, may have thought so. That is why when the World Cup schedule was announced last August, the Bangladesh team was automatically named the number one team in Group B.

But Mahmudullah Riyadh's team did not meet expectations. Bangladesh could not become the group champion as they lost to Scotland in their first match and became the second in the Super Twelve. That is why the Tigers will have to play in Group-1. Scotland, who are champions in Group B, will play in Group-2. Bangladesh's opponents in Group-1 of Super Twelve are Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies and the champions of this group. It is not yet known who is the champion of this group. However, in view of the situation, it seems that the champion team Sri Lanka will be the table topper of this group in 2014. And Bangladesh's Super Twelve Mission will start with a match against the champions of this group.

Next Sunday (October 24) at 4 pm Bangladesh time, the champions of Group A will face the runners-up team of Group B, Bangladesh. The Tigers will play the match at the Sharjah International Stadium in the UAE after the Oman episode.

Bangladesh's next matches in the Super Twelve are October 26 (England), October 29 (West Indies), November 2 (South Africa) and November 4 (Australia). In other words, if they do not reach the semi-finals, the World Cup of Bangladesh will end on November 4. And writing the name in the knockout will prolong the dream of millions of Bangladeshis.

Let's take a look at the schedule of Super Twelve in Bangladesh
