Sports Desk: There are six athletes from Bangladesh in the current Tokyo Olympics. Of these, only Archer Roman Sanai qualified for the Olympics. So all expectations were on him.

The country's best archer Roman Sana gave a good start to the Olympics by fulfilling the first part of that expectation. In the first match of the elimination round, he lost to Tom Hall of Great Britain and made it to the top 32.

Sana lost to Hall by 6-3 set points. Roman Sana has scored full 10 points in 6 of his 15 arrows.

Roman Sana has had a great start and end. The best archer of Bangladesh ensured the victory by scoring 10 on the first arrow of the first set and scoring 10 on the last arrow of the fifth set.

Roman had a great finish in the last set. He scored 9 on the first arrow but did 10, 10 in the last two. The Bengal archer, who lost 29-26, was overjoyed with the victory.

Roman Sana's goal is now in the top 16 with a place in the top 32. In the fight to reach the top sixteen, Roman will have to play with the winner in the archery of Canada or Moldova.
