Mohammad Rakibul Islam Appointed as New OC of Faridpur DB

Faridpur Correspondent: Unarmed Police Inspector Mohammad Rakibul Islam has assumed charge as the new Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Sadar Zone of the Detective Branch (DB) of Faridpur District Police. He was instructed to join the post immediately through an official order issued in the public interest.

The appointment was made through an order signed by Faridpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Nazrul Islam (PPM). Under the same order, outgoing DB OC Syed Md. Alamgir Hossain was withdrawn from his position for administrative reasons and attached to the Faridpur Police Lines.

The transfer and appointment were carried out swiftly by the district police administration to ensure the continuity of command and operational effectiveness within the Detective Branch following the situation arising from the death of a young man while in DB custody.

Newly appointed OC Mohammad Rakibul Islam has already joined his new post and assumed his responsibilities.
