Türkiye and Bangladesh Sign MoU on Protection of Cultural Heritage in Dhaka

Diplomatic Correspondent: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hakan Fidan met with Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Minister Khalilur Rahman in Dhaka, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in the Field of Protection of Cultural Heritage was formally signed between the Governments of Türkiye and Bangladesh. The agreement was also signed in the presence of Bangladesh’s Minister of Cultural Affairs Nitai Roy Chowdhury.

The MoU aims to enhance collaboration in safeguarding, preserving, and promoting cultural heritage, reflecting the shared historical and cultural interests of both countries.
