Filling station will be open 24 hours for 13 days during Eid

News desk: The government has decided to keep CNG filling stations open for 13 consecutive days and 24 hours to ensure smooth travel of passengers on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

Department of Energy and Mineral Resources recently sent a letter to Petrobangla Chairman to take necessary measures in this regard.

The letter said that all CNG filling stations in the country should be kept open round the clock from May 21 to June 2. This decision has been taken to maintain normal traffic on the highway during Eid and facilitate the movement of passengers.

According to government directives, CNG stations will be open 24 hours on the previous seven days and the next five days including Eid.

Meanwhile, government employees are getting seven consecutive days off on Qorbani Eid this year as well as fasting Eid. The government has announced a holiday from May 25 to May 31. However, before the holidays, the office will be open on May 23 and 24, according to the decision of the cabinet.
