News Desk The Interim Government has launched a mobile app 'Shubechcha' and a central online ticketing platform 'Druto Ticket' to ensure travel convenience in Bangladesh with the aim of increasing expatriate engagement and strengthening mutual networks in exploring opportunities, receiving civic services and creating sustainable social and economic impact.
On Tuesday, Faiz Ahmed Tayyeb, Special Assistant to Chief Adviser on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Sheesh Haider Chowdhury, Secretary of Information and Communication Technology Department and related senior officials presented the details of these two digital services to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.
In the evening the Chief Advisor was briefed about the activities of the two platforms at the Rashtriya Guest House Yamuna.
Expatriate Bangladeshis can easily access more than a hundred civic services through the 'Shubechcha' app. On the other hand, 'Druto Ticket' has been introduced to prevent irregularities and ensure transparency in bus, rail and air travel during festivals and other times as well. The Chief Advisor thanked the stakeholders for the successful launch of the two platforms.
He said, 'All the services of the government should reach the citizens without suffering - that was our goal. Today the journey of these two platforms started. This is just a beginning. Both platforms need to scale up and reach more people. Hopefully, the next elected government will further these two initiatives.'
