Central Bank Reports the Country’s Foreign Exchange Reserves

News Desk: The country’s total foreign exchange reserves have reached $31.10 billion, according to the Bangladesh Bank. Executive Director and spokesperson Arif Hossain Khan shared the information with the media.

As per the latest data from the central bank, as of November 10, the country’s gross reserves stand at $31.10 billion. Under the IMF’s BPM6 accounting framework, the reserves are $26,395.21 million.

Previously, as of November 9, the gross reserves were $31.145 billion (or 31,145.12 million), while the BPM6-calculated reserves stood at $26.44 billion.

It is noted that net reserves are calculated based on the IMF’s BPM6 method. By subtracting short-term liabilities from the total reserves, the actual or net reserves of the country are determined.
