Courtesy Call on the Army Chief by the EU Ambassador

News Desk: A delegation led by European Union Ambassador Charles Whiteley paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman on Wednesday (17 September) at Army Headquarters.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged greetings and discussed strengthening military cooperation between Bangladesh and the European Union, as well as exploring prospects for developing Bangladesh’s defense industry with EU assistance. The EU Ambassador highly praised the role of the Bangladesh Army in maintaining law and order in the country under the current context.
