Efforts Underway to Ensure Every Person Receives Early Disaster Warning: Adviser Faruk-e-Azam

News Desk: Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk-e-Azam has stated that the government is making continuous efforts to ensure every person receives early disaster warnings. He said that a unified national volunteer force will be created through which affected people can receive assistance.

The Adviser made this statement on Tuesday (September 16) morning at the inaugural event of the National Dialogue on Early Disaster Warning at the China-Bangladesh Friendship Conference Centre.

He said that coordination between government and non-government organizations is crucial to ensure early disaster warnings. He also commented that through this, it will be possible to work unitedly for disaster-prone people.

Representatives from the government's Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Red Crescent, international aid organizations, and domestic and foreign non-governmental organizations participated in the event.
