BGB arrests Indian national in Panchagarh

Panchagarh Correspondent:  BGB has arrested an Indian national named Satish Roy for illegally coming from India to work in Panchagarh, Bangladesh. Panchagarh 18 BGB Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Monirul Islam confirmed the matter through a press release at night. He was arrested from Majhipara Toyagch area of ​​Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh on Saturday (March 8) afternoon. 

It is learned that the arrested Satish Roy is the son of Debin Roy of Dakshin Dangapara area of ​​​​Moynaguri police station in Jalpaiguri district, India. He has been handed over to Tentulia Model Police Station and a case is being processed against him. 

The press release said that Satish Roy had infiltrated into Bangladesh from India 15 to 20 days ago and was working as a daily wage laborer in Majhipara area of ​​Tentulia upazila. Satish had infiltrated into Bangladesh in the same way before and worked as a daily wage laborer. On Saturday afternoon, BGB members of Majhipara BOP arrested Satish from Ramzan Ali's house in Majhipara Toagach area based on a secret information. 

Panchagarh 18 BGB Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Monirul Islam said, "The Indian national had illegally entered Bangladesh and was working as a daily wage laborer. He was arrested based on a secret information. He has been handed over to Tentulia Model Police Station. A case is being processed against him."
