International Women's Day celebrated in Narail

Narail Correspondent:  International Women's Day-2025 was celebrated in Narail. On the occasion of the day, on Saturday (March 8), the District Administration and District Women's Affairs Department, Narail, organized a balloon launch ceremony at the Deputy Commissioner's office premises at 11 am and a discussion meeting on the theme of the day was held in the Deputy Commissioner's conference room. Julia Sukaina, Deputy Director of Local Government Department, Narail, was the chief guest.

The event was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Zubair Hossain Chowdhury, while Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Sanchita Biswas, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force (VDP), Narail District Commandant Md. Nurul Absar, Deputy Director of the Department of Women's Affairs, Narail, Moushumi Majumder, government officials, representatives of various women's organizations, NGO representatives, journalists, and women from various professions were present at the event.
