NCP leaders visit graves of martyrs of 2024 coup

News Desk:  Leaders of the National Citizens Party (NCP) have participated in the visit and prayers at the graves of the martyrs of the 2024 uprising at Rayerbazar Massacre Ground.

The party's leaders and activists participated in the visit to the graves of the martyrs and offered prayers at the Rayerbazar massacre site around 10 am on Tuesday. Jatiya Nagorik Party convener Md. Nahid Islam and member secretary Akhtar Hossain led the central leaders to attend.

Earlier, at around 8 am, leaders and activists of the National Citizens Party (NCP) paid tribute at the National Memorial. Through this program, the NCP officially started its political journey.

An introductory meeting of the executive committee will be held at the central office today at around 3 pm. The central members will be present there, led by party convener Md. Nahid Islam and member secretary Akhtar Hossain.

The National Citizens Party officially launched its journey as a new political party on the afternoon of February 28 with a huge rally at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital. After that, a partial convening committee of 217 members was approved.
