Work meeting held in Narail to eliminate child labor

Narail Correspondent: A seminar of the Narail District Child Labor Monitoring Committee has been held to eliminate child labor in Narail. The seminar was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Monday afternoon. The main article in the seminar was presented by Narail Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Sharmin Akhter Jahan. The seminar discussed various ways to reduce child labor in Narail in light of the National Child Labor Elimination Policy, Bangladesh Labor Law and Labor Rules.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Lincoln Biswas was present as the discussant. Director of the Divisional Labor Department, Khulna, Md. Monirul Islam moderated the event. Assistant Director of the Labor Department, Mahbub Alam, Member Secretary of the Narail Press Club, MM Mahbubur Rashid Lablu and officials of various government and private departments were present at the event. The district administration and the Divisional Labor Department, Khulna jointly organized this workshop.
