Akshay surprised the new look!

Entertainment desk: Raw beard full of cheeks. A sharp look with a broken eye. Fatty tied to the head. A bunch of necklaces. Actor Akshay Kumar has appeared in 'Angry Young Man' again. The first look of the new movie 'Bachchan Pandey' was released on Saturday.

Not only that, besides the first look, he also announced the release date of the film in the caption. Akshay starrer 'Bachchan Pandey' will be released on January 26, 2022, the Republic Day. The film is directed by Farhad Shamji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Apart from Akshay, the film also stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Pratik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Saharsh Kumar Shukla and others. The film was supposed to be released on January 25, 2020. Later it was postponed to 22 January 2021 as the day of new release.

But Aamir Khan requested to postpone that day for 'Lal Singh Chadda'. But because of Kovid, all calculations changed. The shooting of 'Lal Singh Chadda' and 'Bachchan Pandey' was disrupted. Aamir later finished shooting at New Normal. The shooting of 'Bachchan Pandey' started on January 7 of the new year.

After shooting for 'Atarangi Re' from Lucknow, Akshay started shooting for a new film. His release list this year includes Rohit Sethi's 'Suryavanshi', Ranjit M Tiwari's 'Bell Bottom' and Chandra Prakash Dwivedi's 'Prithviraj'. ‘Atarangi Re’ is also expected to be released this year.
