Sports Desk: Indian Cricket Board President Sourav Ganguly has suffered three blockages in his heart artery. The right artery has about 90 percent of the 'block' and the other two have about 80 percent of the 'block'. However, doctors said that his condition is now stable as he came to the hospital on time.

On Saturday (January 2) morning, while walking on the treadmill, Saurabh did not waste any more time due to sudden chest-hand pain and discomfort. Sourav Ganguly himself contacted a doctor at a private hospital in South Kolkata. Then go straight to the hospital. At that time his pulse rate was 70 and his blood pressure was 130/80. After that, the doctors performed ECG and echocardiography of Sourav. It shows that he has a mild heart attack.

According to the doctor, Anandabazar said that Saurabh had undergone angiogram and angioplasty at the hospital. It shows that there are 'blocks' in three arteries of his heart. About 90 percent of the right artery is blocked. The other two have about 80 percent 'blocks'. Then an angioplasty is performed and a stent is placed in the right artery. Aftab Khan, a member of the medical board set up to treat Sourav, said: "The stent has been placed under local anesthesia.

He is aware. He also talks. ' Another member of the board, cardiologist Saroj Mandal, said, "The board will take necessary action later on the other two arteries which have more or less problems." Saurabh was given light food at night. According to doctors, smoking, uncontrolled high blood pressure, high cholesterol, uncontrolled high diabetes, obesity, excessive junk food, lack of sleep, excessive stress are the most common causes of heart disease. But even after not smoking, exercising regularly, and living a controlled life, the doctors think that it is a matter of wondering why Saurabh had a heart attack. It is learned that Sourav's father Chandi Gangopadhyay also had to undergo heart bypass surgery.

As a result, in spite of so much exercise, he may have had a heart attack due to genetic reasons. Meanwhile, the hospital authorities said that Saurabh's corona report was also negative.
