Shakib returned to the country from the United States

Sports Desk: Shakib Al Hasan returned home from the United States. He arrived at Shahjalal International Airport on a Qatar Airways flight around 10am on Sunday (January 3rd). Earlier, Shakib left for the United States without playing the last two matches of Bangabandhu T20 Cup.

After receiving the news of his father-in-law's illness, he left the country without playing in the final of the tournament. However, before reaching the United States, the world's best all-rounder got the bad news of his father-in-law's death. Arriving in the country, Shakib said, this comeback is different. I could not go to Sri Lanka. Which is frustrating. West Indies is coming to Bangladesh. Thank them for that. Feeling we have 'Run out of gas' emotionally. This series will be tough. I will try to get myself back. Shakib further said, the news of the new child is happy. I want everyone's blessings so that the child can stay healthy.

The practice against the West Indies will begin in a few days. The Caribbeans will arrive in Dhaka on January 10. Meanwhile, on the first day of the new year, Shakib surprised the fans with good news. He said on social media that he is going to be the father of the third child.
