National Disaster Preparedness Day colorful rally and fire service drill in Faridpur

Faridpur Correspondent: National Disaster Preparedness Day celebrated in Faridpur. Deputy Commissioner Md Kamrul Ahsan Talukder along with guests inaugurated the program by blowing balloons in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office at 11:00 on Sunday (March 10). A colorful rally was then taken out. The rally circled the important roads of the city and ended at the district administration school and college premises.

Later, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Abu Nasher Mohammad Babar presided over the discussion meeting as chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Md. Kamrul Ahsan Talukder. Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Abdur Razzak Molla, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Rezwan-ul-Islam, Assistant Director of Fire Service Md. Asaduzzaman, District Administration School and College Principal Muhammad Imtiaz Jahan were special guests in the organization of District Administration and Disaster Management Department. Later, members of the fire department performed a drill on what to do in a disaster.
