Inauguration of a two-day science fair in Kaliganj

Gazipur Correspondent:  On the occasion of the 45th National Science and Technology Week, a two-day science fair and the 8th National Science Olympiad have been inaugurated at Kaliganj in Gazipur. Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) inaugurated the fair and Olympiad on Tuesday (January 30) in the premises of Kaliganj Central Library. Azizur Rahman.

Under the direction of Upazila Assistant Education Officer Israt Jahan, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Noor-e-Jannat, Livestock Officer Dr Yusuf Habib, Muslin Cotton Mills High School Principal Tapas Kumar Das and others spoke. At that time, heads of various departments of the upazila, teachers and students of educational institutions, media workers and people of various professions were present.

It is known that Kaliganj upazila administration organized the fair under the supervision of the National Science and Technology Museum and under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Technology. 19 stalls of secondary and higher secondary level participated in it. Out of these, 3 to 6 institutes from two mediums were awarded in 1st, 2nd and 3rd categories. In addition, 5 to 10 winning students of secondary and higher secondary level are awarded in Science Olympiad competition.
