Veteran actor Brijesh Tripathi succumbed to heart disease

Entertainment Desk:  Veteran Bhojpuri actor Brijesh Tripathi passed away. He was 72 years old at the time of his death. According to 'Times of India' news, the actor was infected with dengue a couple of weeks ago. The actor was admitted to a hospital in Meerut.

Brijesh recently recovered from the hospital and returned to Mumbai. But Brijesh suddenly suffered a heart attack on Sunday (December 17). When he was taken to the hospital, the doctor declared him brought dead. 

Brijesh has a career of almost 5 decades in Bhojpuri films. In 1979, the actor made his debut in the film world with the movie 'Saiya Tohare Jaar'. However, besides Bhojpuri movies, Brijesh has acted in several Hindi movies.

Brijesh's first Hindi movie 'Taxi Chor' was released in 1980. Brijesh also acted in countless Hindi serials before stepping into Bhojpuri films. She has been seen on screen with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rajinikanth, Ravi Kishan. 

Despite acting in Bollywood, Brijesh is remembered by his fans for his several popular roles in the Bhojpuri industry. Tabar starred alongside Bhojpuri actors like Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari, Dinesh Lal Yadav, Pawan Singh and Keshari Lal Yadav.

Remembering the late actor, Ravi Kishan said, we acted in about 100 movies together. An era in Bhojpuri cinema came to an end with his demise. May God rest his soul in peace. 

Brijesh's death casts a shadow over Bhojpuri films. Brijesh is scheduled to be cremated in Mumbai on Monday (December 18).
