Monthly meeting of law and order committee held at Saltha

Faridpur Correspondent:  The monthly meeting of the upazila law and order committee was held in Saltha of Faridpur. The meeting was held at the conference room of the upazila parishad on Wednesday (November 29) in the afternoon organized by the upazila administration. At the end of the legislative meeting, a preparatory meeting was held to celebrate the upcoming Great Victory Day.

Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Anichur Rahman Bali, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Rupa Begum, Officer-in-Charge of Saltha Thana OC Md. Sheikh Sadiq, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Farukuzzaman Fakir Mia, Principal of Saltha Government College Krishna Chandra Burman, Principal of Navakam Palli College Obaidur Rahman, Acting Principal of Divisional Shahid-Smriti Mahavidyalaya Tarek Hossain, UP Chairman Shahidul Hasan Khan Sohag, Khandkar Shahin, President of Saltha Press Club Salim Molya, veteran freedom fighter Bachchu Matubbar, Halim Mia, Alimuzzaman, officials of various departments and heads of schools and colleges were present. 

The speakers said that currently the law and order situation of Saltha Upazila is good. Every union has a law and order committee, all the members of which have to meet once in a month. And a few days later, the National Assembly elections. Everyone should be careful so that no one can create any kind of anarchy in front of the election.
