Two officers of Magura administration received the Bangabandhu Public Administration Medal

Magura representative: Two officials of Magura administration received Bangabandhu Public Administration Medal. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presented the Bangabandhu Public Administration Medal to 28 officials of the administration and two government institutions. On the occasion of 'National Public Service Day', the Prime Minister presented the medal in a ceremony at Osmani Smriti Auditorium in the capital on Monday (July 31). The government started awarding public administration medals from 2016 to encourage the efficiency, thoughtfulness and innovative efforts of the administration officials. From last year, the name of this medal was changed to Bangabandhu Public Administration Medal.

This time the Ministry of Food received the medal in the 'Policy and Administrative System Reform' category and the National Heart Institute and Hospital in the 'Research and Human Welfare' category. Among the 28 officers of the administration who received the award, two officials from Magura. Former Assistant Commissioner of Khagrachari District (now Assistant Commissioner of Mohammadpur-Land of Magura) Vasudev Kumar Malo and Former Assistant Commissioner of Khagrachari (Assistant Commissioner of Magura District) Sheikh Naushad Hasan received this medal in the 'Development Administration' category. .

Two lakh rupees will be given for individual contribution, five lakh rupees for group contribution. Maximum number of team members in case of team contribution is five. Each member of the team will be awarded a gold medal, a certificate and a crest, apart from a cash prize of five lakh rupees to be distributed equally among the members. Gold Medals, Crests and Medals of Honor are awarded in respect of institutions.
