Baridhara Society donates to help poor people with iftar during Ramadan

News desk: Baridhara Society donated Tk 30.000 to Charity Right Bangladesh to provide Iftar to 500 students of the organization's two separate schools during the Holy month of Ramadan. The donation was made in presence of the representatives of the Baridhara Society and Charity Right Bangladesh at the Baridhara Society Office.

In the same program, the Baridhara Society donated Tk 20,000 to Kalachandpur Dakhil Madrasah for the same purpose of providing Iftar to 345 students.

These donations were made from the funds saved by not holding the regular Iftar party of Baridhara Society's members. Baridhara Society President Feroz M. Hassan handed over the cheque to the concerned members of these organizations while other officials of Baridhara Society including. Sakif Ariff Tabani, Saiful Islam, Serajuddin Ahmed. Monzur Uddin Ahmed and Tariq Mahmood were present on the occasion.

"Ramadan is a month of giving and compassion. As part of our community outreach program, we have collaborated with Charity Right and Kalachandpur Dakhil Madrasah to ensure that the students of less developed and slum areas of our city can enjoy a nutritious meal after their long day of fasting," said Feroz M. Hassan.

Members of the Baridhara Society are very happy to share Iftar with these students of Shishumela BiddaNiketon School, Al Quran Gulbagicha School and Kalachandpur Dakhil Madrasah, added the president.

Earlier, the Baridhara Society donated Tk 4,00,000 to be a part of the MASTUL Foundation's initiative to feed 100000 persons Ifiar during Ramadan.

Feroz M. Hassan thanked all the members of the Baridhara Society who made all this possible.
