Special meeting of District Puja Celebration Parishad in Bogra ahead of Janmashtami

Sanju Roy, Bogra: A special preparation meeting of Bangladesh Puja Udjakar Parishad district branch was held at Satmatha Sanatan Dharma Mandir in Bogra on Friday afternoon ahead of the Janmashtami festival of Lord Krishna on August 19. Sagar Kumar Roy, the president of the district branch of the organization, said that Sri Krishna's Janmashtami is one of the most important festivals for Sanatan Dharma followers. Every year this day is celebrated with great festivity and this time will be no different. For that purpose, as the president of the district, he called upon all the upazila and district leaders of Puja Udjakar Parishad to fulfill their respective responsibilities well. In coordination with the administration in the 12 upazilas of Bogra, all kinds of preparations are being made so that all the people belonging to traditional religions can celebrate this festival without any problems and in the end, he expressed hope that everything will be done well. Dilip Kumar Dev, member of the central committee and former president of the district branch of the organization, Central member Sukumar Saha, leaders of the district branch of the organization respectively Sadhan Chakraborty, Dhanya Gopal Singh, Samar Das, Ashok Saha, Padyut Chaki also spoke in the special meeting on Friday highlighting various important organizational issues. , Parimal Prasad Raj, Tapas Niyogi, National Sportsman Gopal Tewari, Tapas Chakraborty, Kalachand Saha, Asim Das, Prabhat Saha, Asim Kumar Jain, Ram Narayan Kanu, Sangram Kundu, Govind Ghosh, Tapas Sarkar, Mihir Sarkar, Sukumar Mohant, Bappi Chowdhury , Gautam Dutta, Kamal Dutta, Pradeep Pal, Manik Sarkar etc. Several important decisions were taken around the Janmashtami festival in the meeting. Among which it is noteworthy that Sanatan Dharma devotees from all the temples of Bogra city will appear at the Sanatan Dharma Temple at 7:30 am like every year with their own banners and the devotees of all the temples will actually take a colorful rally from the Bogra district school ground together to circumambulate the important roads of the city. Also on the evening of the same day, special puja of Lord Krishna will be organized in each temple where prayers for the peace of the country and the decade will be held. In the meeting, the Upazila Committees were instructed to coordinate with the local administration in their respective Upazilas to complete all Janmashtami arrangements while maintaining religious solemnity.
