News Desk: Six police officers have been promoted from SI and Sergeant to Inspector. This information was given in a circular signed by Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed. A notification was issued on Thursday (July 8th) stating that 30 people have been promoted from the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) to the post of Inspector of Police (Armed). In addition, 10 police sergeants were promoted to the rank of Inspector of Police City and Vehicles. In another circular, 26 unarmed Sub-Inspectors of Police have been promoted to the rank of Unarmed Inspector of Police.
