Rallies, discussion meetings and cultural programs on the occasion of Santal Rebellion Day in Thakurgaon

Thakurgaon Correspondent: Rallies, discussion meetings and cultural programs were organized on the occasion of the 16th historic Santal Rebellion Day. On Thursday, a colorful rally marched from the Thakurgaon Press Club premises to the city's main road and stood in front of the deputy commissioner's office. Later, a discussion meeting was held at Anisul Haque Auditorium of Thakurgaon Press Club. The meeting was organized by ESDO's Premdeep Project and National Tribal Council. The meeting was chaired by Press Club President Mansur Ali. Imran Hossain Chowdhury, District A'League Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Nazrul Islam Swapan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director Mamun Ur Rashid, Jatiya Adivasi Parishad District Branch President Dulal Tigya, General Secretary Bishu Ram Murmu, ESDO Senior Co-ordinator : Shahin, tribal leader Rittik Saran, Sadar upazila manager of Premdeep project Jharna Begum, EEM Shamsut Tabriz and others. Later a pleasant and cultural program was served with the participation of indigenous artists.
