These Banavasi people are also in trouble with livestock and cattle. They are also suffering to keep cows and goats in a safe place with food crisis. Meanwhile, 52 mm rainfall has been recorded in Lalmonirhat district in the last 24 hours. The Flood Information Center has also forecast a worsening flood situation in the northern Teesta and Dharla areas in the next 24 hours. Mizanur Rahman, executive engineer of the district water development board, said the Teesta Dharla and Saniajan rivers were overflowing, creating a flood situation.
