Bogra Correspondent: The body of an SSC examinee has been recovered a day after he went missing in Sherpur, Bogra. The body was recovered from Nayapara area of ​​Bangali Nadir on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Asif Iqbal, 15, son of Ershad Hossain of Baraitali Chowdhury Para area of ​​Khanpur Union. He was this year's SSC candidate from Sughli High School. Asif's grandfather Tozam Chowdhury said that Asif went to the river bank on Monday afternoon to ride a goat. In the evening, the goat broke the rope and returned home, but Asif could not be found. They did not find him even after the family members searched the area with the locals till night. During the night, they suspected that Asif had gone missing after drowning in the river. The Sherpur Fire Service and Civil Defense Authority were informed. Fire service divers arrived from Rajshahi on Tuesday morning. They found Asif's body floating 4 km away from Nayapara. Siddiqur Rahman, sub-station officer of Sherpur Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the body of schoolboy Asif was recovered from the river. Their divers from Rajshahi rescued the body. Sherpur Police OC Shahidul Islam said police were immediately dispatched to the spot. The body has been handed over to the family at the end of the legal process.
