I will make Narayanganj a model city: Ivy

News Desk: Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy has said that she wants to work for the welfare of the people. He said, I will make this Narayanganj a model city. There is still some work to be done in this ward, I will finish all the work in this term.

He was speaking at the final of the late Badshah Mia Memorial Football Tournament at Kandapara Rupshi Garden Balur ground in Ward 2 of Siddhirganj on Thursday (March 18) afternoon. Because I work for everyone, you have elected me mayor three times in a row.

Addressing the residents of Ward No. 2 of Siddhirganj, he said, “We used to have many fields in this ward. But due to lack of conservation, the fields have been occupied. We are trying to build more playgrounds in all the wards. Mr. Siddhirganj Thana Awami League Secretary said, there are 3 playgrounds in this ward. I promise if these fields are in government place, I will build them for the playground in next 6 months.

Mayor Ivy said today is the birthday of the father of the nation. We should not just celebrate his birthday. We have to work for the welfare of the people inspired by his ideals.
