Krishak League rally in Magura to commemorate Krishak Killing Day

Magura Correspondent: A rally was organized in Magura on the occasion of Farmer Killing Day with the theme 'Save the Farmers - Save the Country'. A rally was organized by Bangladesh Krishak League, Magura District Krishak League in front of Magura Press Club on Tuesday 15 March. During the month of March 1995, a farmers' rally was held in memory of the 16 martyred farmers who were brutally killed by the BNP-Jamaat alliance government while buying fertilizer.

Magura District Krishak League President Advocate Md. Moinul Islam Palash, General Secretary Md. Sajjadul Islam Bipu, Municipal Krishak League President Ahmed Hossain Babu, General Secretary Md. Jewel Rana, Sadar Thana Krishak League President Md. Idris Ali, General Secretary Md. Aslam Mia were present at the rally. Organizing Secretary Md. Anshar Ali, Raghabdair Union Krishak League President Md. Ayub Hossain, District Krishak League Member Md. Lal Mia, Member President Md. Shafiqul Islam and District Krishak League leaders and workers were present.
