People will win Awami League in next elections: Obaidul Quader

News Desk: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has called upon the BNP to speak in the language of peace, otherwise the people will be given a proper answer.

He made the call to BNP leaders on Sunday (February 20) morning by virtually joining the Natore district Awami League's triennial conference.

Obaidul Quader said, they (BNP) do not have a picture of visible development to the people, so the people will face all the conspiracies of the BNP and the Awami League will win the next election by a huge margin.

Obaidul Quader directed the central leaders present at the Natore district Awami League conference to identify and punish those who were involved in the clashes.

The general secretary of the Awami League said that all the development of the country would be ruined if it gets involved in the conflict ahead of the elections, adding that the Awami League will take part in another election with the pride of Sheikh Hasina's development.

Obaidul Quader said a list of names of those who were involved in misdeeds and had tarnished the image of the party in the Union Parishad elections was being compiled. He said strict organizational measures would be taken against them.

"The Awami League will not be able to come to power in the next elections," said Obaidul Quader. He said the BNP is starting to shout as the national election is approaching. Awami League is not afraid of BNP's shout.

Also present at the conference were Awami League presidium members Abdur Rahman, AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud, Organizing Secretary SM Kamal Hossain, Health and Population Secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana, State Minister for ICT Junaid. Palak, Natore District Awami League General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Shimul and other central leaders.
