News Desk: RAB has arrested a man named Shahidul Haque Dipu (52) from Chittagong Road area of ​​Siddhirganj in Narayanganj. He used to introduce himself as a senior officer, RAB said.

He was arrested at noon on Thursday (August 19). This information has been given in a press release sent from RAB-11 on Friday (August 20) morning. The arrested Shahidul is the son of Mujibul Haque of Barpit area under Sonaimuri police station in Noakhali. A search of his hand bag turned up 18,060 pieces of yaba. According to RAB, the arrested Shahidul used to bring yaba from Cox's Bazar and supply it to Dhaka, Narayanganj and surrounding districts for a long time.

At various times he introduced himself as a senior government official. A case has been filed against him at Siddhirganj police station under the relevant section of the Narcotics Act.
