News Desk: Australia captain Matthew Wade has decided to field after winning the toss in the first match of the five-match T20. Bangladesh is facing Australia in a bilateral series for the first time in the T20 format. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has organized a five-match T20 series on a number of conditions given to Ajit by Corona. The board has no shortage of sincerity in meeting the needs of Cricket Australia. The series is going to start at the end with all the conditions.

Earlier, Bangladesh and Australia last met in a T20 match in 2016, in the T20 World Cup. Mushfiqur Rahim, one of the best players in Bangladesh in this format, is unable to play in the series due to Cricket Australia's (CA) strict position on the bio-safety zone.

The remaining four matches of the series will be played on August 4, 6, 7 and 9. Each match will start at 6 pm Bangladesh time at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, popularly known as 'Home of Cricket'.

Sad but true, the game in this series will not be seen in Australia. Because so far no Australian broadcaster has shown interest in buying TV rights.

Bangladesh XI:

Soumya Sarkar, Naeem Sheikh, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyadh (captain) Nurul Hasan, Afif Hossain, Shamim Patwari, Mahadi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman and Shariful Islam.
