New feature on Google Maps

News Desk: Search engine giant Google has introduced a new feature on its map called 'Insight Tab' to give users a unique experience. The announcement was made at Google's annual developer conference recently.

This feature is currently available for users in Germany and the United Kingdom. At the same time, they said, it will soon be implemented in other countries of the world. But the platform did not elaborate on when the feature would be rolled out in other countries.

In a blog post on the subject, Google said that the Insight tab has been provided in Google Maps to facilitate the user. The new feature will give the user various travel information every month. Moreover, it will alert you about the movement while traveling somewhere.

Do whatever it takes to get access

For this, first open Google Maps. Then click on the profile picture section at the top right. Now select Timeline from the pop-up menu. Then the timeline will show multiple options including Day, Trips, Insights, Places, Cities, World. In addition to bringing this new feature, there have been some changes in the interface of Google Maps. Information on user's busiest days and location at restaurants and hotels will be available. Moreover, the user has a timeline editing system using floating options.
