Two youths arrested with weapons in Kaliakair

Kaliakair (Gazipur) Correspondent: RAB arrested two youths with home-made revolvers and suture guns in a raid at Chandra Trimor bus stand area of ​​Kaliakair upazila in Gazipur. They were arrested in a raid on Sunday night. The arrested are: Ruhul Sheikh (35) father of deceased Mohan Sheikh of village Ataikula Dakshinpara, Ataikula district of Pabna police station and Alam Mollah (36) father of late Riaz Uddin Sang Naria of Godai police station Sathia district of Pabna. A case has been filed under the Arms Act at the police station. Kaliakair Police Station Officer-in-Charge Monowar Hossain Chowdhury said a smart RAB team raided the Chandra area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway on a tip-off last night and arrested two youths with two weapons and handed them over to the police station. The accused were sent to Gazipur Jail on Monday (July 5).
