Jamalpur Correspondent: A trader has been fined Tk 20,000 for selling fuel oil at excessive price in Jamalpur's Bakshiganj

On Saturday (March 28) at around 8 pm, the operation was conducted based on a tip-off by the National Security Agency (NSI) in the Chanderban area of the municipal area.
Bakshiganj Assistant Commissioner (Land) Asma-ul-Husna led the campaign.
In the raid, evidence of illegally selling petrol and diesel at high prices was found at the house of a man named Masood Rana Matun (35). In this incident, he was fined 20 thousand rupees.
Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Asma-ul-Husna said that around 110 liters of petrol and diesel were seized in the raid and later sold at a fair price. He said that such campaign against illegal stockpiling of fuel oil and sale at excessive price will continue.
