How Israel is destroying Lebanon’s healthcare system

News Desk: In southern Lebanon, Israeli forces are systematically destroying life-saving healthcare services and infrastructure. In a recent military attack, five doctors were killed, which has become part of a pattern of regular strikes on emergency medical teams deployed in the region.

Israeli authorities claim that some paramedics are linked to Hezbollah or the Amal Movement, and that ambulances are being used to transport fighters and weapons—using this as a pretext to target hospitals and medical personnel.

Meanwhile, loud explosions were heard overnight in the southwestern coastal city of Tyre, and there are no signs of a ceasefire in the area. The situation is feared to worsen further as Israel has issued new evacuation warnings to residents of 11 towns and villages. Local people believe that the intensity of the conflict will increase in the coming days, as essential service infrastructure required for daily life is now on the brink of destruction.
