An anti-drug human chain and rally were held in Gopalpur.

Gopalpur (Tangail) Correspondent: Under the slogan “Say No to Drugs, Stand Against Drugs”, an anti-drug rally and human chain were held in Gopalpur, Tangail.

The program took place on Friday (27 February) afternoon at Mirzapur Bazar, organized by local residents. The event was conducted under the guidance of Gopalpur Upazila Krishak Dal office secretary and former student leader, GBG College Student Council general secretary, Rabi Alam (Fatik).

Speakers at the human chain included Ward BNP president Dulal Torfar, labor leader Mintu Mia, July Movement student leader Manik Hossain, and other local leaders. Members of BNP and its affiliated organizations, market traders, and people from all walks of life also participated.

The speakers emphasized that drugs are destroying society and that social resistance must be built to protect the younger generation. They called on everyone to work together to eliminate drugs from society.

At the event, participants strongly urged the police and administration to take strict action against drug dealers and their supporters.
