Practical Trial Field Day organized by BINA in Chatmohar.

Pabna Correspondent: A field day was held in Chatmohar organized by the Ishwardi sub-center of the Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) to popularize BINA-developed high-yielding and short-duration crop varieties through practical field trials.

The event took place on Wednesday (February 18) at 4:00 PM in Goalbari village of Mathurapur Union, Chatmohar Upazila, under BINA’s Research Strengthening Project. The program was presided over by Dr. Ferdous Iqbal, Officer-in-Charge of the Ishwardi sub-center of BINA.

Special guests included Chatmohar Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Tania Akter, Assistant Agricultural Officer Saidur Rahman Said, and farmer Mamunur Rashid.

The event was conducted by BINA’s Assistant Scientific Officer Shah Alam.

Speakers highlighted that BINA’s short-duration crop varieties can be easily cultivated between two main crops. As a result, BINA mustard has become increasingly popular among farmers.
